Hi!  I’m Karen and this is my blog where I get to share all kinds of fun things from my photography to adventures in cooking.  Thanks for stopping by!

So, who is this girl, anyway?  Well, I’m a California girl born and raised just a few miles from the beach just south of Los Angeles and I’ve been transplanted to just outside our nation’s capital by way of Dayton, Ohio.  I would’ve never thought that I would live anywhere but my beloved SoCal, but I took the leap to follow my now husband and so far I’m loving it (check out how he popped the question here!).  I live here with my adorable dog, Roman, and my amazing husband, Dane, who is also my partner in crime for all our DIY adventures!  Hope you enjoy my blog!

I married the love of my life on 10.12.12 in Hermosa Beach, CA.  The day was absolutely perfect in every way!  I can’t wait to share our wedding photos as soon as we get them!

As of November 2012 Bella Carina Photography is officially open for business!  It has been a dream of mine to start my own photography business specializing in natural light portrait photography and with the awesome support of my husband, I am making it happen!  Please check out the Photography tab for more information!
